Allied Health & Therapy Services

RIDBC provides a range of allied health and therapy services for children and adults with vision or hearing loss or impairment, including diagnosis, functional assessments, speech therapy, occupational therapy and more. Our services are holistic in focus and can include areas relating to additional disabilities. 

Our team of specialist staff, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, orthoptists, physiotherapists, and psychologists work co-operatively to achieve the best possible outcomes and a tailored service that meets your specific needs.

We can also provide support for your family or for other professionals in your team, to better ensure you achieve your specific goals. Our staff will work closely with you to answer your questions and provide a therapy service tailored to meet your goals. RIDBC’s services are provided in convenient locations across Australia; in the local community; or direct to your home, through high quality video conferencing technology.

Funding options and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

RIDBC is a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which is a new way of providing support to people with disabilities, their families and carers. Find out more about the support that is available.

RIDBC also offers a range of additional funding and payment options which we can explore with you.

Who can access the service?

This service is available to people of all ages who have vision and/or hearing impairment, including those with additional disabilities. A medical referral is not necessary, unless you wish to make a Medicare claim. We can also provide a hearing or vision assessment if you require it.
