RIDBC aims to support parents as much as possible in their role as chief educator of their child. Some of the services we offer include:
- Special learning groups
- Playgroups, enabling interaction with other parents
- Access to RIDBC’s Continuing Education program
- Regular newsletters, including one from the Renwick Library on the newest book and video resources available to parents
- An extensive list of Internet resources.

Special learning groups
RIDBC organises special learning groups, or support groups, for parents when required.
For example, RIDBC recognises that language is developed as much in the home as it is at school. We run various courses and seminars specially designed to help parents and families learn Auslan.
