Tertiary students

RIDBC welcomes tertiary students wanting to do work practicum placements or work experience, including those with vision or hearing impairment.

Students can experience a variety of work situations, including:

  • Preschool assisting
  • Classroom assisting for students with vision impairment, hearing impairment (oral/auditory or sign), or multiple disabilities
  • Librarianship
  • Audiology
  • Orthoptics
  • Speech pathology
  • Occupational therapy
  • Educational psychology

  • Public Relations/Marketing
  • Human Resources
  • IT (computers)
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Accounts
