RIDBC Teleschool recently held a residential week for children with hearing loss in Sydney as part of Hearing Awareness Week. Families of children who are deaf or blind in regional and remote Australia access RIDBC Teleschool via high-quality videoconferencing technology.

Children were able to touch and listen to different sea creatures

RIDBC Nepean had an Under the Sea experience from Rangers on the Run. The Under the Sea encounter will provide the students with an opportunity build language in a fun, interactive environment. “For children with hearing or vision loss who attend RIDBC Nepean, having the opportunity to touch and interact with real animals is an integral part of their educational program,” said RIDBC Nepean Preschool Director, Melissa Sangalang.
