On campus accommodation
RIDBC Renwick Centre students who are attending campus conferences are welcome to take advantage of RIDBC's modern accommodation facilities. Recently renovated and reasonably priced, the accommodation facilities are conveniently located just a few minutes walk from our teaching rooms and library.
View our Accommodation page for information on location, bookings, tariffs and local facilities.
All students who require access support (such as interpreters, alternative formats, modified assessments) on the basis of medical condition, disability or other special circumstances are required to register with the University of Newcastle and RIDBC Renwick Centre. Services or modifications cannot be provided without registration. To register with the University of Newcastle, refer to http://www.newcastle.edu.au/current-students/support/disability-support . To register with RIDBC Renwick Centre, please complete the Access Services Form and submit to the Executive Officer, Graduate Studies.
Some RIDBC Renwick Centre courses require students to source text books, kits or other resources. View the 2016 Semester 2 Textbook list (pdf) to see the prescribed and recommended items for your courses. Students may purchase texts/resources from any of the listed suppliers or from any other source that is convenient. Students are encouraged to source texts as soon as possible, and prior to commencement of semester if possible.
Requesting an Extension
Extensions to due dates of assessment tasks must be submitted formally. Requests for extensions or any other consideration should be made online via the Adverse Circumstances application process.
