The RIDBC Early Learning Program (Hearing Impairment) is for children aged 0-6 years who have impaired hearing.
The RIDBC Early Learning team works with families to design, develop and implement an individual program for each child.
RIDBC Early Learning Programs (Hearing Impairment) are based at:
- Nepean (Penrith)
- North Rocks (Sydney)
- Campbelltown (Sydney)
- Sutherland (Sydney)
- Central Coast (Ourimbah)
- Hunter (Newcastle)
- Narrabeen (Sydney)
- Across Australia through our RIDBC Teleschool.
The program can include a mix of any of the following services:
- Assessment and planning – to determine the future needs of each child
- Individual teaching/therapy sessions for children and parents
- Group sessions for children and families
- Courses and workshops for families
- RIDBC Jim Patrick Audiology Centre
- RIDBC Cochlear Implant Educational Support Service
- Therapy services
- Newsletters and fact sheets.
The RIDBC Welwyn Centre, where the Early Learning Program is based, has toys, books and other resources available to borrow.
