RIDBC employs a team of special educators/consultants who support school-aged children with hearing impairment enrolled in mainstream schools. They:
- Ensure each student receives in-class assistance and individual tuition when necessary
- Assist in the use of hearing aids and FM transmitter/receiver systems
- Take notes
- Advise classroom teachers and students, about hearing impairment
- Regularly liaise with parents and schools.
Students also have access to:

- Therapy services
- Jim Patrick Audiology Centre
- RIDBC Cochlear Implant Educational Support Service
