RIDBC Host Family Service provides accommodation for Deaf students who normally reside outside the Sydney metropolitan area to enable them to attend RIDBC Thomas Pattison School (a school for Bilingual Deaf Children) at North Rocks.
Accommodation is provided to the students in local homes, linking the Deaf student and his/her family with another family who lives closer to the School. The Deaf student lives with the host carer family during school term, and returns home each weekend (if possible) and during school holidays.
The program is managed through RIDBC Thomas Pattison School.
