The RIDBC Jim Patrick Audiology Centre (JPAC) at North Rocks is a family-friendly audiology clinic offering a full range of children’s audiological services.

The centre incorporates the latest technology for hearing assessment for children of all ages. Tests include:

  • Testing of babies whilst they are asleep, using a technique called Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing. Small sensors are placed on the child’s forehead and behind their ears to allow audiologists to record the response of the brain to sound.
  • Listening games.
  • Standard testing under headphones.

How to access the service

Before visiting JPAC for the first time, you will need a referral from a medical practitioner. Enquiries may be directed to the Senior Audiologist/Centre Manager on (02) 9872 0872.
