RIDBC Teleschool services are delivered via:
- Videoconferencing
- Telephone
- Written correspondence (which may include lesson plans, information sheets, reports, newsletters)
- Videos
- Fax
- Visits to North Rocks campus (some financial support for travel to Sydney and overnight accommodation is available)
Your child will be allocated a specialist such as a teacher of the deaf or blind, occupational therapist or speech pathologist. You can choose the ways in which you would like the service delivered.
We will:
- Include you in all decisions about your service
- Collaborate with other service providers who may be seeing your child
- Work in a family-friendly manner (taking into consideration other issues and concerns you are facing)
- Develop an individualised program responsive to your child's needs and your family's priorities
- Provide a responsive, regular service
