Splash for Cash Hunter 2013

Splash for Cash Hunter Swimmers

What is Splash for Cash?

Splash for Cash is an annual, fun-filled swimathon that raises funds for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).

By getting some sponsors and swimming your laps you'll be having fun and keeping fit whilst helping children with hearing or vision loss in the Hunter community.

Why Splash for Cash?

RIDBC proudly helps children across Australia overcome the challenges associated with having vision or hearing loss by providing expert education and support services.

All money raised will help RIDBC continue to make a difference in the lives of children in the Hunter community.

Who Can Register for Splash for Cash?

We encourage people of all abilities and walks of life to join in. You don’t need to be a professional swimmer – you can swim one lap or one-hundred! You can swim with flippers, floaties or simply freestyle.

Swim as an individual or get a group of friends, colleagues or family together and swim together as a team.

How does Splash for Cash work?

  1. Register online by clicking the "Register" button below and set up your individual or team fundraising page.
  2. Start training and fundraising!
  3. On the day, check in at the Splash for Cash registration desk. You will be assigned a lap counter and a lane. When you have finished take your lap count sheet back to the registration desk and join in the fun of the day.
  4. The hard work is over! Tell everyone how well you swam and follow up your sponsors for your donations.

On the day there will also be a BBQ, inflatable Splash Zone and face painting for the kids.
